Trough this campaign we want to support children aged 7 to 15 trough their difficult journey in the public school.

Since August 2017 we have been working in the community of Villa del Socorro, in Medellin, to give to these young children a safe space to play, learn about their rights and plan positive futures.

The families of these children have been forced to move to Medellin as victims of threats, abuse and violence from the guerrilla and paramilitary groups.

They have now been housed in the periphery of Medellin, in an area know for the high presence of criminal activities. Although they now have proper houses, they still lack opportunities for employment and education.

Only the 35% of the families of the community has a source of income. In this situation even the smallest expense such a school uniform, represents a big challenge to the families.
